Naked in Death - J.D. Robb I give this book 3.5 stars. This one is a romantic suspenseful mystery featuring NY lieutenant Eve Dallas. Eve is on a perplexing case involving a savvy serial killer exhibiting a taste for prostitutes and voyeuristic tendencies. When the granddaughter of Senator DeBlass, keeper of morality, shows up dead all hell breaks loose. In the process of trying to solve the case Eve meets Roarke, a handsome dark haired blue-eyed Irish billionaire. When these two meet sparks fly but don’t think for a minute that it is a cheesy dumb romance. The premise of the book lends to an intelligent fast paced read.

The twist in this story is that it takes place in the future. Although I don’t generally read things set in the future this one was enjoyable because the things described were relatable and can be easily pictured. I look forward to the rest of the series.
