Magic Kingdom For Sale/Sold - Terry Brooks I’m not usually into fantasy, but I really enjoyed this one. Ben Holiday is an attorney still learning to deal with life after his wife passed away two years ago. He sees an ad in the paper advertising a magical kingdom for sale. Thinking that the offer was too good to be true Ben Holiday decides to take a risk and buy Landover. What journey that ensues as a result of that spontaneous choice!

I admit that I found some parts boring. I thought Ben analyzed a little too much, but I guess that’s a good thing considering he was in a strange world and his life was being threatened. However, overall I found the story engaging and interesting. I found myself sympathizing with Ben. Who hasn't experienced the need to get away especially after such a tragedy? There are days when I sure wish I had my own Landover to go too.
